A black blazer from YOHJI YAMAMOTO line Y'S FOR MEN. The main body of the garment is produced in a crisp, woven wool gabardine, but the sleeves have instead been made from a black, woolen rib knit. The difference in texture between the two produces a subtle contrast: with a smooth, sleeker body and coarser, bulkier, and slightly softer sleeves. The blazer has medium width notch lapels, an unconventional four button front placket, and two flap pockets at the waist. It is cut long and wide, and hangs gently off the body due to the softness of the materials used. This creates an elongated, comfortable silhouette which is typical of Yamamoto's approach to tailoring - see the pictures included of the garment being worn.
